Noureen is born in New York City on 28 February 1984. The desire to be an actor has never stopped. When she was enrolled at Boston University School of the Arts, she began building the foundations to pursue her dream career. Noureen started to apply for roles in various films. In 2005 she got a prominent role in the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and was shown at various festival events around the world. It also won an Oscar in the category of Best Live Action Short Film at the 2007 79th Academy Awards and assisted Noureen's professional career. Noureen played roles on several TV series, including Girlfriends Num3rs Chuck or Outsourced. She was a child actor in the 90s and starred in movies such as All I Want for Christmas (1991) Patriot Games (1992) Hocus Pocus (1993) Now and Then (1995) and Alaska (1996). The actress gained fame in 1999 after earning international attention and praise for her performance as a character in American Beauty. Then, she starred on the screen in Ghost World (2001), an award-winning film and was awarded an Golden Globe nod.
