Noureen was born in New York City on 28 February 1984. She's always displayed a keen interest in becoming an actress. She began laying the groundwork for her professional career while she attended the Boston University School of the Arts. Noureen then began to audition for roles in various films. In 2005 she got an important role in the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story was screened at other film festivals around the world following its debut at Sundance Film Festival 2005. Also, it received the Oscar nomination for Best Live Action Short Film in the 79th Annual Academy Awards in the year 2007. The film was the first step of Noureen DeWulf's career. Noureen was a part of a variety of TV series, including Girlfriends Num3rs Chuck or Outsourced. When she was a child she appeared in a variety of films in the 1990s, including the films All I Want For Christmas (1991), Patriot Games (1992), Hocus Pocus ( 1993), Now and Then( 1995) and Alaska( 1995). Her fame grew in 1999 when her performance of American Beauty gained worldwide recognition. In 2001, she appeared in the critically acclaimed movie Ghost World (2001), that brought her an Golden Globe nomination.
